What started out as an even game during the first fifteen minutes with neither side gaining the advantage gradually evolved into a very respectable win for East Lodge.
It looked as the Hurricanes' Callum Neil had given them the lead from an early corner which seemed as if his kick had curled in and crossed the line before the ball was cleared but the Referee disagreed and played on. They, however, took the lead in the 20th minute when Bailey Homans' shot took a deflection to beat 'keeper Max Giles.
As the Hurricanes piled on the pressure Giles made a great save but in the 28th minute he was unable to save a long range shot from Elliott Chaffey as Hurricanes went two-up. It looked like the game was over when a few minutes later Ashton Clark put in a penetrating run but once again Giles kept the Chamberlains in the game with another save.
Chamberlains' captain Kai Roscoe rallied his side at the start of the second half bringing the Hurricanes 'keeper Stanley Pharaoh into action for the first time but in the 50th minute Neil scored a well worked goal starting his run in midfield.
Chamberlains tried to fight back but by this stage Hurricanes were playing the best football and kept pressing, being rewarded in the 69th minute with a cross shot goal from Ashton Clark and he completed the victory right on full time with another individual goal.
