Youth football leagues in hampshire

Kid’s football has changed in recent years. New formats have been introduced to increase touches of the ball, improve confidence and assist in all stages of a young player’s development.

Small sided formats such as 4v4, 5v5 and 7v7 are at the forefront of mini-soccer within our youth leagues, with all youth leagues now offering a 9v9 format before moving to 11v11.

There are fantastic youth football leagues across Hampshire for boys and mixed teams. You can visit the leagues below for more information using the quick links and map.

Our map below shows the variety of leagues dotted around the county together with a list of clubs affiliated to those leagues as well, helping you identify clubs in your location:

why do we make our kids play like adults?

Let’s provide a safe and fun environment for young people to develop in football.

Hampshire FA encourage a modern, child-friendly approach to youth football, challenging the win-at-all-costs mentality that is stifling development and enjoyment for young people.

Working together with a proactive attitude, adults can help develop a better learning environment for young people that put their development needs at the centre of the process.
