The award is open to all Hampshire FA clubs and/or leagues, welcoming members from across the county to put forward their nominations and best practice examples to be considered for the award.

As this is a new (pilot) award for the 2023-24 season, the county FA also welcomes submissions from the 2022-23 season to ensure we can maximise the opportunities for members to nominate. The conditional requirement is that the youth engagement project nominated MUST still be active within the club or league in the current season.

Nomination examples can be in the form of establishing a youth committee, organising a consultation event, allowing young people in your set-up to lead on an event or allowing them to create and execute a campaign on behalf of the club. The nomination process is flexible to allow everyone the opportunity of listing varied examples of work.

Please note that only one award is available for one club or league based in Hampshire and affiliated to Hampshire FA. The club and/or league must be able to demonstrate how their project has made an impact in terms of youth engagement for the club or league.

One successful club or league will be contacted on Thursday 25th April after 12pm. If you have not received an email or call on the day, please note that sadly your submission was unsuccessful at this time. 

The award-winning club or league will be invited to attend the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards event taking place on Saturday 27^th of July 2024 to collect their award on stage (x2 tickets will be offered). The awards ceremony will take place at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl from 5:30pm onwards.

This form will close on Friday 22nd March 2024 at 5pm. 

The judging panel will include members of the Hampshire FA Safeguarding Team, the Hampshire FA Safeguarding Steering group and the Hampshire FA Youth Network who will all review the submissions and decide on the winning nomination by the deadline above.
