Lucy Wain and Leon Howgill join Hampshire FA Board of Directors
Hampshire FA have last month appointed Lucy Wain – Owner and Marketing Director at The Consulting Studio Ltd; and Leon Howgill - Chief Commercial Officer of Serocor, to the Board of Directors.
Lucy, a senior Marketing Director and Digital Transformation Leader with over 20 years’ experience aims to utilise her extensive experience in the marketing and leadership space to support the wider Hampshire FA team in the work conducted in the community.
Having held senior marketing positions for global professional services firms including Capita, PwC and WS Atkins, Lucy brings a considerable amount of first-hand experience from a variety of industries including technology, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and construction.
Now running her own business and catering to a number of SMEs across the world, Lucy’s specialisms are chiefly in strategy, commercial, transformation and business growth.
Talking about her appointment to the Board of Directors, Lucy says “I’m really looking forward to working with Hampshire FA because of the passion, commitment, and ambition I can see across the whole organisation.
I love how sports and exercise bring people together, whether that’s as a player or as a fan, and so I’m really pleased to be using my business experience to support Hampshire FA in all the great work they do now and in the future.”

Leon Howgill, Chief Commercial Officer of Serocor joins Lucy as the newest appointment to the Hampshire FA Board of Directors. With over 26 years of recruitment experience across multiple sectors, Leon brings with him comprehensive experience in business and commercial management.
Being named Recruitment Leader of the Year by Recruiter Magazine in 2017 and having worked at board level for a variety of global businesses for over 10 years, Leon’s expertise is invaluable to aid the county FA in building a sustainable business model.
Leon specialises in, amongst other things, the management of large teams, business development, service delivery and networking.
Talking about his appointment to the Board of Directors, Leon says “I’m really excited to help Hampshire FA on a volunteering basis. Seeing first-hand how this county FA is looking to build a sustainable business model to continue delivering football for everyone is a key attraction for myself.
Using my experience in the commercial sector to help Hampshire FA will be a great experience for myself and the business, also giving something back from all the hours various volunteers within football have given my children is very special to me."
