The award which is newly sponsored by Paris Smith Solicitors welcomes Hampshire FA affiliated clubs and/or leagues to submit entries focusing on best practice and successful outcomes achieved by working with one of their dedicated commercial partners/sponsors.

Entries from the 2022-23 and the 2023-24 seasons are welcome to ensure we can maximise opportunities for all. The conditional requirement is that the partner/sponsor MUST still be associated with the club or league in the current season if the submission is based on work and achievements from the previous season.

Deadline for entries: Friday 1st of March 2024 at 12pm.
Panel reviews submissions: Monday 4th of March - Thursday 14th of March 2024. 
Panel’s decision day: Friday 15th of March 2024

Two awards are available this year and includes a winner and a runners-up award. The club and/or league must be able to demonstrate how the partnership has made a significant impact with evidence to support this submission.

This could be a partnership that has yielded results in the form of being able to set up additional teams based on the funds of their partnership and/or sponsorship. Other examples may include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Putting on a local community event jointly with the sponsor that may have made the local press and drawn interest back to their club or league with new players or volunteers.
• Contributed to the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility goals through joined-up collaboration on environmental activities.
• Launched creative and engaging initiatives to combat well-known and/or global issues (see Cadbury's and Manchester United's as an example here).
• Upskilled the workforce of volunteers. Sponsorship and/or partnership monies has funded coaching qualifications for existing volunteers, creating new development opportunities for the club.

This award is entirely flexible, and we welcome all submissions that can clearly demonstrate the impact. The more detailed the submission, the more chances of securing a place. Please note that evidence is pivotal to increasing your club and/or league’s chances to be successful so please highlight links, provide reports/media/articles/testimonials, as much as you possibly can to support the
submission.

A select group of Hampshire FA Commercial Partners and the sponsors of this award, Paris Smith Solicitors will review all nominations and decide on the award-winning entry and runners-up entry as well. If successful in securing a position, an invitation will follow to attend the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards on Saturday 27^th of July 2024 at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl. Please note that your club and/or league will find out on the evening of the awards ceremony, which position you have secured.

Hampshire FA will not have any involvement in the judging process other than to coordinate the arrangements.
