Adopt South Becomes Headline Sponsor of Front Lawn Community Hub

Adopt South has become a headline sponsor of the Front Lawn Community Hub in Havant.

Adopt South has become a headline sponsor of the Front Lawn Community Hub in Havant, as part of ongoing work with Hampshire FA to raise awareness of adoption and connect children with their forever families. The two organisations already enjoy a successful partnership, which was most recently extended to a two-season agreement.

Rachel Reynolds, Head of Adopt South, said: “We are delighted to continue our support of grass roots football with Hampshire FA. The momentum by Hampshire FA in the region has enabled so many children and young people from different backgrounds to be part of a sport they enjoy playing and competing in.

“Adopt South is always interested to hear from anyone who could be a loving parent to a child still awaiting their forever family. We are confident that our valued partnership with Hampshire FA will continue to support us in reaching out to more people and spreading the word further about the importance of adoption.”

Formed four years ago, Adopt South is the Regional Adoption Agency for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton, and has identified families for more than 583 children and approved over 355 families. As a well-established partner of Hampshire FA, Adopt South already features in external advertising at Winklebury Football Complex and Stoneham Lane Football Complex. Additionally, the agency benefits from having widespread digital exposure across Hampshire FA’s website and social media channels. The agency will also continue to sponsor the Women’s Senior Cup which garners an average attendance of 900+ spectators.

The sponsorship of the Front Lawn Community Hub will enable Adopt South to raise awareness of adoption amongst the families, clubs and organisations who use the hub’s facilities. Adopt South will use the location to host adoption drop-in events – encouraging singles, couples, and families to speak to the team and find out more about the journey to adopting a child. The adoption agency will also use the Hub’s facilities for staff training and development.

The suites at the hub will feature Adopt South’s branding and information, serving as consistent reminders of the partnership between the two organisations and – crucially – reinforcing the message about the agency’s important work.

Neil Cassar, CEO of Hampshire FA, added: “It was a logical step to make Adopt South sponsor of the Front Lawn Community Hub. The Hub is truly at the heart of the local community in Havant. There are parents who attend training sessions here with their club, grandparents who use the site for walking football sessions and individuals who just stop by to grab a drink and go.

“Adopt South’s presence at all three sites – Stoneham in Eastleigh, Winklebury in Basingstoke and now Front Lawn Community Hub – will strengthen the adoption agency’s visibility; reaching even more of our members and users of our facilities, driving awareness and helping to find a loving, forever family life for children.”
