Congratulations Josh R and Karl A for being the Hampshire FA Academy Students Of The Month for February 2022!

Winners are selected, one from the Red team and one from the Blue team, based on their attitude and achievements, both on and off the pitch.

REDS: JOSH R

Lee Burch, Academy Head Coach, says: "Josh has been a standout since walking into the academy. He is a natural leader and his performances have lead to him being picked and playing 90 minutes for the Tactic League rep side against QPR! He is a footballer with a bright career ahead of him."

Danny Joseph, FE Sports Lecturer at SCL, says: "Josh has been brilliant in education this month. He has produced some fantastic projects, has not missed a day of college and interacts well in lessons. His work has been of the highest standard."

BLUES: KARL A

Lee Burch, Academy Head Coach, says: "His performance on the pitch after a long term injury and hard work supporting the Academy as a whole has been exceptional. Karl has worked really hard to develop all areas of his goalkeeping and his hard work with the goalkeeper coach is paying off."

Danny Joseph, FE Sports Lecturer at SCL, says: "Karl has really upped his effort over the past few months in education. He engages well in class, creates key discussion topics and is willing to go out of his way to help others.  Karl has also done extremely well in the latest two projects."

Well done to both Josh and Karl for the brilliant work and securing the latest student of the month awards!
