A new Goal of the Season competition was launched for the 2021-22 season with the chance of teams winning a £250 voucher. Due to infrequency of fixtures, and low entries as a result, the competition has had to be restructured as follows:

Rather than holding ‘Goal of the Month’ competitions, we will now have rounds for Goal of the Season, as follows:

Round 1: 1st August 2021 – 30th September 2021 (Complete – Jordan Edwards, Hartley Wintney FC voted as the winner)

Round 2: 1st October 2021 – 27th February 2022

Round 3: 28th February – 30th June 2021

All other aspects to entering the competition will remain the same. The only change is that rather than monthly competitions, this will be split into the three periods of time specified above. It is hoped that this will allow for more entries in each round.

HOW TO ENTER

Teams can enter videos of goals scored in their Hampshire FA Cup fixtures for any of the competitions listed at the bottom of this article by emailing your videos, along with the scorer’s name (do not include the name if they are under 18), the team name and fixture details to Kel.Crook@HampshireFA.com or by tweeting: @HFA_CountyCups

Reminder: As per FA Guidance, please don’t identify any under 18’s by name in your videos.

Our Hampshire FA County Cups team will then shortlist the best goals before putting them to a public vote on Twitter.

At the end of the season, all round winners will be entered into a Goal of the Season competition and again put to a public vote on Twitter. The Goal of the Season will win a £250 voucher for their club!

Please ensure media consent has been provided by all included in your goal videos, including the opposition team, before submitting the video to Hampshire FA.
