Hampshire FA and England Football are proud to once again support the Rainbow Laces campaign and we’re inviting the grassroots football community to join us!
The campaign begins on Thursday 25 November and will run through until Sunday 12 December, with Wednesday 8 December designated as this year’s landmark ‘wear your rainbow laces day’,
This is when teams, leagues, businesses, schools and leading sports personalities all over the word will be getting together to wear their laces with pride.
All are encouraged to wear them to work, take and post pictures to social media, and visibly show their support for LGBTQ+ people in football.
How to get involved?
We are giving away at our facilities for you to wear and share!
Laces will be available for collection from Monday 29th November 2021. You can collect* the laces from any of our three facilities:
- Stoneham Lane Football Complex, Southampton, SO16 2PA
- Winklebury Football Complex, Basingstoke, RG23 8BF
- Front Lawn Community Hub, Havant, PO9 5AN
*If you are based on the Isle of Wight, please email Emma.Allen@HampshireFA.com
Alternatively, you can purchase Rainbow Laces from Stonewall UK.
And don't forget to use social media to showcase your club or school during the campaign using the hashtags #EveryonesGame and #RainbowLaces

Alongside the rainbow laces initiative, we have launched a poem competition that has been sent out to schools across the county. There are prizes up for grabs and every participant that enters will have the title of their poem featured on a collage mural that will be shared across our widespread social media platforms.
