In the past, the company van has been used to transport kit and equipment across the county to serve various grassroots football initiatives, for after-school clubs through to inclusive events, all aiding to increased participation and community engagement.

Martins Group have been in partnership with Hampshire FA since 2008 and have agreed to extend their sponsorship with the association until September 2021, leasing a new van to the association since the 1^st September this year. The company van proudly displays the Hampshire FA brand as it makes its journey across the county serving the beautiful game and is therefore a considerable element of the marketing strategy and of making the association’s brand known on a county-wide level to both football and non-football communities. 

The van will be used to continue to support several events over the next few years including Hampshire FA’s pinnacle event, the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards and all Hampshire FA cup finals including the Senior Cup. The branded van has given Hampshire FA considerable exposure, especially when in attendance at national FA events and meetings and as such is core to the overall marketing strategy.

Hampshire FA’s Chief Executive Neil Cassar said “Being able to continue the work with Martins Group is fantastic. We have formed a solid, positive relationship over the years and are thankful to them for continuing to stand by us and our vision for the game even during these testing times. As football starts to resume back again on the pitch where it belongs, we will continue our work across the county and of supporting several initiatives and programmes as delivered by our development and operations teams alike. The company van allows us to continue to develop the grassroots game and it is thanks to Terry and his team, for ensuring that our team get from A – B accomplishing what we set out to achieve”.
