We are looking for 2 mentors who will work within adult clubs to support volunteers which are identified by our early warning system as needing off pitch assistance.
These mentors will work as a support mechanism to help in a number of different off pitch areas such as administration and finance. Mentors will be assigned to a league or leagues and work with clubs within that league. Mentors will also be expected to feedback information from clubs and influence the league to look at how they can adapt their delivery to suit and further support clubs.
We will initially be looking to employ 2 mentors who will dedicate up to 50 hours each (flexible depending on applications received) to supporting adult male clubs within Hampshire. These mentors will be renumerated at £20 per hour. This role is perfect for someone who has previous experience within a club committee position or has been involved in a league committee in some capacity, we would also welcome applications from university students who are studying a sport related course and have a passion for development of leagues and clubs. We are also looking for people who can help clubs to innovate and modernise their processes.
Closing date for applications is Sunday 18th August, interviews will then take place week commencing 26th August.
*Please note this is a mentoring role to support clubs with off pitch support and not a coaching role*
