The record-breaking boss has committed to supporting the community projects of every club in the town or city he is visiting, across his 6 shows this coming May/June, and is delighted to be able to support the incredible work of PITC with the Guildhall show and is hoping to be able to raise over £10,000 from the evening

Neil said.. “I love going around the country talking about my career and football in general, trying to make people smile along the way with a few stories, so to now also be raising funds for the wonderful community projects the PITC are involved with, makes the night extra special”.

Jodie Anthony, head of marketing and fundraising at Pompey in the Community, said.. “We’re incredibly grateful that Neil has chosen to raise funds for us at this event.

22 of Portsmouth’s neighbourhoods are among the 20% most income-deprived in England and this money will support our aims to reduce inequalities and provide opportunities within these areas.

Every year, we enable over 36,000 children, young people and adults to access support to improve their wellbeing and education, we distribute over 3.5 tonnes to food banks with support from donations, and some of our Pompey Pedals volunteers alone give over 6,000 hours to allow hundreds of people with disabilities and mobility needs to access inclusive cycling. These are just a few of the programmes this money will go towards.”

Warnock, who at the age of 75 was the worlds oldest active manager in professional football until his departure from Aberdeen recently, is also an official Guinness World Record holder for achieving the most promotions.  He has managed 17 different clubs over 44 years, overseeing more than 2,000 games.
