Basingstoke Ladies looking for Coaches next season
Basingstoke Town Ladies FC are one of the most successful women’s football club in North Hampshire and are seeking to add to their management structure for the 2013-2014 season.
The team have progressed well over the past few seasons, gaining promotion to the Southern Region First Division in 2009. Further promotion was achieved in 2011-12 to the Southern Region Premier Division. The club is keen to push on with their development, and progress as far as possible through the women’s football pyramid.
We are looking for ambitious and dedicated coaches to work with alongside our existing management team to help the club progress and develop further. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress within the club should a higher role become available.
Basingstoke Ladies Football Club is backed by a dedicated committee who take on the administrative workload, leaving the coaches/managers to focus on training and match day responsibilities.
All candidates must be able to create a learning environment where players are comfortable and enjoying their football.
Job Description
To work closely with existing coaches and managers to plan sessions in accordance with the First Team Managers direction
To plan and deliver such training sessions in a clear, responsible and informed manner
To ensure a high level of health and safety is kept to at all times
To wear appropriate clothing to deliver training sessions
To understand the etiquette and professionalism required to work within a ladies football environment
To ensure they act in an appropriate manner at all times
To understand we are a charter standard club and have responsibilities associated with its status
To understand that they are representing Basingstoke Town LFC at all times, and they are a good role model for women’s football
To, where available, assist the Team managers on match days and ensure all administration is completed; team sheets, referee reports, results submission.
Essential Candidate Requirements
FA Level 1 Qualified
Previous football coaching experience
Desirable Candidate Requirements
FA Level 2 Qualified or higher (or working towards it)
Confident and clear communicator
Able to respond in a positive way to feedback and constructive instructions
Able to coach unsupervised under direction from the first team manager
Training sessions are held on Wednesday evenings in central Basingstoke with games on Sunday afternoons.
Candidates will be initially responsible to the First Team Manager and ultimately responsible to the BTLFC Committee.

Goalkeeper Coaching Available in Hampshire- FREE
I am looking to do some goalkeeper training with teams in the Hampshire area. I am an experienced goalkeeper who has played to a good level over several years including playing in all FA youth competitions, semi pro footie and top level amateur leagues. I am not looking for a team to play for; but I am looking for a team who has a keeper who needs some pre-season training. I will do goalkeeper drills with them and work on the basics like footwork, positioning, distribution and handling.
I a lot of teams do, do fitness drills and matches with their goalkeepers- but I would like to do some drills aimed at the keeper themselves which will with time hopefully improve the goalkeepers all round play
I am not looking to be paid. I am just looking to get some experience before I start my coaching badges with the Hampshire FA. I will work with all ages, gender and ability of keeper. I am happy to work on a session by session basis over the summer and into the football season.

Southampton Saints Girls & Ladies FC welcome applications for the vacant Team Mangers positions at Under 10's and Under 14's for next season's age groups.
It would be desirable for applicants to hold a minimum level 1 coaching or to be at least actively working towards this level.
The position of team manager will be subject to a full CRB disclosure check.
Applicants will also be encouraged to complete the County FA age appropriate training courses.
Experience of managing a youth team would be an advantage and club structure support will be given to the successful applicants.
