The Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards will take place this Summer 2021 and we need your help to identify those who have gone above and beyond to support our local communities.

Do you know a person or organisation, connected to grassroots football, that has done outstanding work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to support your local community?

From taking on sponsored challenges for charity, to setting up e-sports competitions and adapting to various technological platforms. We know some incredible work has taken place throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to help keep people active and give back to the local community.

Please see criteria for six new awards below. These are special awards, created specifically to recognise those who were able to rise to the challenges of COVID-19 and improve grassroots football and/or support our local communities throughout!

Hampshire FA Community Trust Special Award

To be awarded to an individual, club, league or organisation that has gone above and beyond to improve one of the following three areas in Hampshire throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons):

• Disability Football
• Equality & Inclusion
• Community Coaching

Hampshire FA Special Recognition Award - League

To be awarded to any Hampshire FA affiliated league that has gone above and beyond to improve grassroots football and/or support the local community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons).

Hampshire FA Special Recognition Award - Club

To be awarded to any Hampshire FA affiliated club that has gone above and beyond to improve grassroots football and/or support the local community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons).

Hampshire FA Special Recognition Award - Coach

To be awarded to any coach, within a Hampshire FA affiliated club, that has gone above and beyond to improve grassroots football and/or support the local community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons).

Hampshire FA Special Recognition Award - Volunteer

To be awarded to any volunteer, within a Hampshire FA affiliated club or league, that has gone above and beyond to improve grassroots football and/or support the local community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons).

Hampshire FA Special Recognition Award – Match Official

To be awarded to any Hampshire FA match official that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the role and the opportunity this offers to improve grassroots football and/or support the local community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (2019/20 & 2020/21 seasons).
