Silent Weekend 5th & 6th November 2016

Due to the success of last years event, Hampshire FA will introduce our second Silent Weekend on the 5th and 6th November to promote Respect in...

Youth & Mini Soccer fixtures taking place on 5th & 6th November will involve coaches and spectators remaining silent throughout games to raise awareness of the need to create a positive and pressure-free environment in which children can enjoy football and learn to love and develop in the game.

We hope with your support you will encourage all to take part and spread awareness of this fantastic initiative.

In addition to all the supporting resources below ready for your download, coaches can attend a free FA Licenced Coaches Club Event accrediting two hours of CPD  taking place on 2nd November.
The workshop will cover a part of England DNA's "How We Coach' on a match day, exploring how coaches can be most effective during match days to support players long term development. With 'Silent Weekend' weekend coming up it gives you an excellent opportunity to see the benefits of letting them play.
